This instrument accepts one RS232 input and communicates to a single multidrop RS485 line. This instrument works with baud rate of 9600(bits per second).

This unit is available in a DIN Rail mount enclosure and accepts 230V power supply. This instrument is specially isolated between RS-232 and RS485 to prevent damage for both PC and slave instrument. The instrument accepts query from RS232 channel, and sends the message to the RS485 channel though a powerful driver. The result to the query from the RS485 channel is sent to RS232 channel at 9600 baud rate.

The buffer size is limited to 500 bytes for the input query. Message queuing is not implemented and user has to communicate one query at a time.
